11.2 ounces of lye. (Use Red Devil brand ONLY, you can get this in the drain opener section of your supermarket)
32 ounces of COLD water
1 Pound of olive oil (any type will do, the cheaper the better)
3 Pounds of lard
1 Pound of Coconut Oil (76 degree)
1.4 ounces of Soap Crafters Fragrance

It yields approximately eight pounds of soap. 

This has been the most popular soap for beginning soap makers. If you follow instructions well, this recipe is just the best, easy to do and wonderful on the skin.

Dan Special soap recipe was written for my husband, Dan.  He told me he wanted a more 'manly' bar of soap.  But it is gentle enough on the skin for my extremely sensitive skin.
